Brentham Football Club have unveiled their new changing rooms which were part-funded by Thames Materials as part of their “Supporting Local Business and the Local Community through Local Sponsorship” campaign.

Drivers Undergo Cycle Training

Our drivers have undergone professional training courses to boost awareness of the hazards faced by cyclists on the roads. A team of 20 drivers from Thames Drivers swapped the comfort of their driving cabins for cycles and found themselves wobbling unsteadily amid refuse lorries, coaches and a road-sweeper. The drivers learned how cyclists cope with the threat of sudden door opening, HGVs turning left without warning and dealing with impatient car drivers. After a number of years sponsoring the Football Veteran’s XI, we are pleased to announce that Thames Materials, a local firm based in Uxbridge, have now increased their contribution to the club to become a significant sponsor of events and facilities over the next 2 years. Starting with the New Year’s Eve Party, Thames Materials will also be the title sponsor of May Day celebrations, a Weekend 5-a-side Tournament (Juniors & Vets) and Fireworks Night during 2012 and 2013. Sponsorship of Isleworth Colts U2

Sponsorship of Pitshanger U15B team

The new football season couldn’t come quickly enough for one Ealing team. The Pitshanger U15B team has been waiting months for some competitive action, since the club made the decision to form a second team for this age group. With a full squad competing for places in the ‘A’ team, and other boys looking to join all the time, there seemed to be a strong demand for another team.
